Home > Piercebridge | Piercebridge is a well known Roman fort that lies just outside of Darlington north of Richmond, just off the A67. Not far from Barnard Castle, it is a place of great interest for those wanting to find out more from the Roman times. In the centre of Piercebridge there are visible roamn remains including the East Gate and Defences, a courtyard building and part of an internal road. |
