  • 5 Stars These are not just self-catering cottages, these are truly exceptional home from home properties, where a great deal of thought and attention to detail, has created interiors of quality furniture, luxurious bathrooms, including some nice surprises and the most comfortable beds imaginable, we should know, we have stayed in nearly all the cottages and after 35 years of self-catering far and wide, can recommend them without hesitation. Imagine a courtyard setting, where a number of stone cottages nestle sympathetically within the Market Town of Pickering, which boasts the unique North Yorkshire Moors Railway. At Levisham, the owners offer 2 delightful cottages, all of the same high quality set within the grounds of their own home and a stones throw away from Levisham Station, and breathtaking scenery.   • 5 Stars we have stayed many times at Eastgate Cottages and hope to return again. The cottages are clean and beautifully furnished with good quality furniture, comfortable beds and a well equipped kitchen. The owners and staff are very welcoming and helpful . the cottages are conveniently positioned only a short walk from Pickering Market Place and steam railway but also only a short drive from the beautiful Yorkshire Moors.
